Cartalax is the injectable counterpart to Sigumir, the natural cartilage extract capsule.
Cartilage cells, chondrocytes, sit in a matrix with no blood supply and renew slowly, which makes short peptides an attractive research tool. Published AED work: a 2023 review of peptide regulation of chondrogenic stem cell differentiation (PubMed 37176122), a comparison of AED and KE peptides in aging human fibroblast cultures (PubMed 33231794), and gene-expression changes produced by short peptides including AED in aging mesenchymal stem cell cultures (PubMed 32399807).
