Glandokort is the Khavinson adrenal peptide bioregulator (A-17), a natural extract complex from young animal adrenal glands sold as a 60-capsule daily supplement. Each capsule contains 20mg of adrenal extract (pcc-17). It is the only adrenal product in the Khavinson line; there is no synthetic adrenal counterpart and no injectable form.
The adrenal glands produce cortisol, aldosterone and the catecholamines, and their output pattern shifts with age and chronic stress. Glandokort has the thinnest paper trail of the ten in-stock bioregulators: no adrenal-specific Khavinson study is indexed on PubMed. What exists is the general work on organ peptides, which stimulated organotypic cultures of their matching tissue (PubMed 11713572), a 2020 review of peptide regulation of cell differentiation (PubMed 31808038) and a 2021 systematic review of peptide regulation of gene expression (PubMed 34834147). Matter's Glandokort is made in Germany in a GMP facility, with 20mg of adrenal extract per capsule as printed on the box.
Naming: Glandokort has no synthetic twin; searches for 'adrenal peptide' usually mean this product.
