Hypothalamic neuropeptide that triggers GnRH release, regulating the entire reproductive hormone cascade. Research applications in fertility and hormone optimization.
Product information
Kisspeptin-10 is the biologically active 10-amino acid fragment of the kisspeptin peptide family, encoded by the KISS1 gene. Kisspeptin is the master regulator of the hypothalamic-pituitary-gonadal (HPG) axis, it directly triggers the release of gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH) from the hypothalamus, which in turn stimulates the pituitary to release LH and FSH, ultimately regulating testosterone, estrogen, and the entire reproductive hormone cascade.
Kisspeptin represents the upstream control switch for reproductive hormone function. Research applications include fertility support, HPG axis reactivation after suppressive therapies, and investigation into puberty and reproductive timing. In clinical research, kisspeptin administration has been used to assess HPG axis integrity and to stimulate ovulation in fertility protocols. This is reproductive endocrinology at the hypothalamic level, modulating the very signal that initiates the hormonal cascade.
