Product information

Pinealon is the Khavinson brain peptide bioregulator with the sequence Glu-Asp-Arg (EDR), a synthetic three-amino-acid peptide modelled on brain tissue peptides. Matter will offer it as a 60-capsule daily supplement; it is listed as coming soon. Pinealon is not Epitalon and not Cerluten, and it is not extracted from the pineal gland.

Despite the name, Pinealon's published work is about neurons rather than the pineal gland: it raised cell viability and lowered free radical levels in cell cultures (PubMed 21978084), protected rat offspring from prenatal hyperhomocysteinemia (PubMed 22567179), stimulated serotonin expression in cortex cells (PubMed 24909721), and a 2020 review lays out its proposed effects on gene expression and protein synthesis in neurons (PubMed 33396470). These are laboratory and animal studies, not trials in people. Capsule details, including the amount per capsule, will be confirmed on the label at launch.

Naming: Pinealon (Glu-Asp-Arg) is not Epitalon (Ala-Glu-Asp-Gly), the pineal tetrapeptide Matter sells as a 10mg research vial; it is not Endoluten, the natural pineal extract; and it is not Cerluten, the natural cortex extract Matter stocks today. Pinealon capsules are a dietary supplement, not a nootropic drug or a sleep medicine. Suggested use will follow the box: 2 capsules a day with food, one 60-capsule box per 30-day course, repeated 2 to 3 times a year. Dietary supplement; not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease.

Frequently asked questions

What is Pinealon peptide used for?

In research, Pinealon (Glu-Asp-Arg) is studied for neuronal cell viability, oxidative stress and gene expression in brain cells (PubMed 21978084, PubMed 33396470). As a supplement it is taken in 30-day courses to support normal brain cell function. It is not approved to treat any condition, and the human evidence is limited to small Russian reports.

Who should not take Pinealon?

Anyone under 18, anyone pregnant or nursing, and anyone with a diagnosed neurological or psychiatric condition or on medication for one, unless a healthcare professional agrees. Pinealon has no published safety data in those groups. Stop and seek advice if you notice any reaction. These are supplement precautions, not medical advice.

Is Pinealon legal to purchase?

In the United States, Pinealon capsules are sold as a dietary supplement, which is legal to buy and own; they are not an approved drug and cannot be marketed to treat disease. Injectable Pinealon is a research compound with a different status. Rules differ by country, so buyers outside the US should check local regulation first.

Where can I buy Pinealon peptide?

Matter will stock Pinealon as a 60-capsule daily supplement, listed as Brain Bioregulator (Pinealon) and currently marked coming soon. Until it ships, the brain bioregulator in stock is Cerluten, the natural cortex extract, and Epitalon is available as a research vial. Join the notify list on this page for the launch date.

What are Pinealon side effects?

Published studies do not report a specific side-effect profile for Pinealon; the Khavinson group describes short peptides as well tolerated, but independent safety data are limited. As with any supplement, digestive upset or a reaction to capsule ingredients is possible. Start with the label serving, and stop and consult a professional if anything unusual occurs.

Is Pinealon good for sleep?

Pinealon is often confused with pineal-gland products because of its name, but its research is about neurons, not melatonin or sleep. If sleep is the goal, Epitalon and the natural pineal extract Endoluten are the pineal-line molecules people look at. Pinealon makes no sleep claim; it is taken to support normal brain cell function.
