Prostate peptide complex concentrate supporting prostate cell function through natural bioregulation. Extract ultrafiltrate from young animal prostate tissue. Made in Germany.
Product information
Libidon is the Khavinson prostate peptide bioregulator (A-16), a natural extract complex from young animal prostate tissue sold as a 60-capsule daily supplement. Each capsule contains 20mg of prostate extract (pcc-16). It is the oral, non-synthetic prostate product in the Khavinson line, distinct from Prostamax, the synthetic tetrapeptide Lys-Glu-Asp-Pro.
The prostate changes with age in most men, and Khavinson's group studied it with two tools: a polypeptide prostate extract (Prostatilen, used in Russia as an injectable) and the short synthetic peptide Prostamax. The published Prostamax work is molecular: Lys-Glu-Asp-Pro loosened condensed heterochromatin in lymphocytes from elderly donors (PubMed 23221144, PubMed 15612551), and short peptides including Prostamax were tested for chromatin activation in cells from older adults (PubMed 15085253). None of these studies used the capsule. Matter's Libidon is made in Germany in a GMP facility, with 20mg of prostate extract per capsule as printed on the box.
Naming: Libidon is not Prostamax. Prostamax is a synthetic four-amino-acid research peptide; Libidon is the natural prostate extract in capsule form, and Matter sells only the capsules. Libidon is a dietary supplement, not a treatment for any prostate condition. Suggested use from the label: 2 capsules a day with food; one 60-capsule box is a 30-day course, repeated 2 to 3 times a year. Dietary supplement; not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease.

Frequently asked questions
What is Prostamax?
Prostamax is a synthetic Khavinson peptide, Lys-Glu-Asp-Pro, four amino acids modelled on prostate tissue peptides. Laboratory studies report that it loosens condensed chromatin in cells from elderly donors (PubMed 23221144). Matter does not sell Prostamax as capsules; the prostate product Matter stocks is the natural extract Libidon (A-16).
What does Prostamax peptide do?
In published work Prostamax acts at the chromatin level: it induced deheterochromatinization in human lymphocytes in situ (PubMed 15612551) and in cells from older adults (PubMed 23221144). Those are cell studies, not trials in men. The capsule product in the same organ line is Libidon, the natural prostate extract complex.
Is Libidon the same as Prostamax?
No. Prostamax is a defined synthetic tetrapeptide used in research. Libidon is a natural peptide complex extracted from young animal prostate tissue and sold as a 60-capsule dietary supplement. They share an organ and a research lineage, not a formula. Matter stocks Libidon, listed as Prostate Bioregulator (Libidon), and does not sell Prostamax.
What is Libidon peptide?
Libidon is the prostate peptide bioregulator in the Khavinson Cytamins line, product A-16. It is an extract complex from young animal prostate tissue with 20mg of extract per capsule, 60 capsules per box, made in Germany in a GMP facility. It is taken as a daily supplement, 2 capsules a day with food.
Which peptides are bioregulators?
The Khavinson line covers most organs: Vladonix for the thymus, Svetinorm for the liver, Thyreogen for the thyroid, Visoluten for the retina, Libidon for the prostate, Cerluten for the brain, Sigumir for cartilage, Glandokort for the adrenal glands, Suprefort for the pancreas and Testoluten for the testes. All ten are in stock at Matter as 60-capsule daily supplements.
How do you take Libidon?
Follow the label: 2 capsules a day with food. One 60-capsule box is a 30-day course, repeated 2 to 3 times a year in the Khavinson protocol. Store in a cool, dry place away from light. Some people pair it with Testes Bioregulator (Testoluten); the Male Vitality Bundle lists both with Glandokort.
