Vesugen (Lys-Glu-Asp), the Khavinson synthetic blood vessel peptide bioregulator, as 60 oral capsules taken as a daily supplement. Coming soon.
Product information
Vesugen is the Khavinson blood vessel peptide bioregulator with the sequence Lys-Glu-Asp (KED), a synthetic three-amino-acid peptide modelled on vascular wall peptides. Matter will offer it as a 60-capsule daily supplement; it is listed as coming soon. Vesugen is the synthetic vessel peptide; the natural vascular extract in the same line is Ventfort.
Blood vessels are lined by endothelium that stiffens and thins with age, and KED is one of the most studied Khavinson short peptides. Published work: short peptides including Lys-Glu-Asp altered expression of vascular cell markers in culture (PubMed 25408528), a vascular peptide bioregulator increased microvascular network density in the cortex of aged rats (PubMed 27383168), and KED modulated neurogenesis-related gene expression in a neurodegeneration model (PubMed 34173097). Cell and animal data; no human trial of the capsule. Capsule details will be confirmed on the label at launch.
Naming: Vesugen is not Ventfort. Ventfort is the natural blood vessel extract complex (a Cytamin); Vesugen is the defined synthetic tripeptide (a Cytogen). Matter lists Vesugen; it does not currently list Ventfort. Vesugen capsules are a dietary supplement, not a treatment for atherosclerosis, blood pressure or circulation disorders. Suggested use will follow the box: 2 capsules a day with food, one 60-capsule box per 30-day course, repeated 2 to 3 times a year. Dietary supplement; not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease.

Frequently asked questions
What is Vesugen peptide?
Vesugen is a synthetic Khavinson tripeptide, Lys-Glu-Asp, modelled on peptides from blood vessel walls. It is studied in vascular and neural cell cultures and in aged rats (PubMed 25408528, PubMed 27383168). Matter will sell it as a 60-capsule daily supplement, listed as Blood Vessel Bioregulator (Vesugen), currently marked coming soon.
What are the benefits of Vesugen peptide?
Published findings are cellular and animal: changes in vascular cell marker expression, denser microvascular networks in the cortex of old rats, and gene-expression effects in a neurodegeneration model (PubMed 34173097). No human outcome data exist. As a supplement Vesugen is taken to support normal blood vessel cell function; it is not a circulation or blood pressure treatment.
Is Vesugen the same as Ventfort?
No. Both target blood vessels, but Ventfort is a natural peptide complex extracted from vascular tissue and Vesugen is a defined synthetic tripeptide. In the Khavinson naming they are a Cytamin and a Cytogen respectively. Matter lists Vesugen capsules, coming soon; Ventfort is not currently in the Matter range.
Which peptides are bioregulators?
The Khavinson line covers most organs: Vladonix for the thymus, Svetinorm for the liver, Thyreogen for the thyroid, Visoluten for the retina, Libidon for the prostate, Cerluten for the brain, Sigumir for cartilage, Glandokort for the adrenal glands, Suprefort for the pancreas and Testoluten for the testes. All ten are in stock at Matter as 60-capsule daily supplements.
Are peptide bioregulators safe?
Vesugen is sold as a dietary supplement, not a drug, with the standard FDA disclaimer on the box. The Khavinson literature reports good tolerability over 30-day courses, mostly from one research group. Adults only; not for pregnancy or nursing. Ask a healthcare professional if you have a medical condition or take medication, including blood pressure or blood-thinning medication.
